In addition to her counselling practice, Sarah is a sought-after Clinical Supervisor, supporting a national caseload of supervisees and lecturing in counselling and psychotherapy at the Australian College of Applied Professions. Originally from the UK, Sarah’s personal journey through living abroad, raising three children herself, and building a life in Australia informs her authentic, resilient, and empathetic approach. Sarah brings not just professional expertise but a real-life understanding of the complexity, beauty, and messiness of being human.

Counselling - Psychotherapy - Clinical Supervision
Sarah is a highly experienced Clinical Counsellor, Psychotherapist, and Supervisor (PACFA) with over 20 years’ experience supporting individuals, couples, and families through life’s challenges. She holds Bachelor and Master’s Degrees in Counselling (High Distinction) from the University of New England and brings a deep commitment to professional excellence.
With a warm, compassionate, and trauma-informed approach, Sarah supports individuals, couples, and families through life’s transitions — whether adjusting to parenting, navigating relationship challenges, or facing personal struggles such as anxiety, depression, grief, or loss. She has a particular passion for working with couples, new parents in the perinatal period, and anyone moving through periods of significant change. Drawing on evidence-based therapeutic models and over two decades of clinical experience, Sarah creates a safe, collaborative space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to move toward their goals. She is a strong advocate for inclusivity and has extensive experience working with diverse communities, including LGBTIQ+ individuals, couples, and families.
Sarah has training in multiple evidence -based modalities including systemic, relational, cognitive and somatic therapies. She believes in continually developing her practice and is currently undertaking advanced training in perinatal mental health. Sarah’s extensive experience includes over a decade of counselling with Relationships Australia and significant leadership roles such as National Manager of Counselling and Welling at SAE University College, and QLD PACFA Leadership Group.
