Life is only as good as the relationships around you — including the one you have with yourself.
Dee’s work includes the therapeutic modalities of:
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Relational Life Therapy, Compassionate Inquiry, and Clinical Hypnotherapy.
Clinical Hypnotherapy is particularly effective for:
• Anxiety and emotional regulation
• Breaking unhelpful habits and patterns
• Confidence and self-esteem
• Accessing inner resources and resilience
Dee has spent many years supporting people through life’s most vulnerable moments. She is passionate about the positive difference counselling can make, and she works with warmth, empathy, and honesty to create a space where you feel genuinely seen and safe.
Her work is grounded in the belief that real change begins in the strength of the therapeutic relationship. She supports individuals of all ages and couples to uncover what’s happening beneath the surface, access hidden strengths, and build the skills needed for real, lasting change.
Dee welcomes all counselling work, with a particular passion for supporting:
• Couples — rebuilding trust, improving communication, learning repair, and deepening emotional and physical intimacy
• Adolescents & young people — anxiety, identity exploration, school pressure, emotional regulation
• Individuals — confidence, self-worth, trauma, grief, burnout, parenting stress, and complex family dynamics
Dee works from an attachment lens, helping you understand the patterns formed early in life — the ways you seek connection, protect yourself, or react when you feel unseen or overwhelmed.
As these patterns start to make sense, so do your triggers and reactions. Together, you will build the skills for healthier, more authentic connection with yourself and others.
Understanding Trauma
Trauma isn’t only about what has happened to you — it’s also about what didn’t happen:
the comfort, attunement, protection, or understanding you needed but didn’t receive. These unmet needs shape how you relate, cope, and feel safe in the world.
Dee’s work gently brings these patterns to light, explores their roots, and supports conscious, meaningful change that can truly last.
