Rachael is a registered Psychologist (Clinical Psychologist Registrar). She holds undergraduate degrees in Psychology (with First Class Honours) and Business, and a postgraduate Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology. With experience spanning various settings—including private practice, hospitals (both inpatient and outpatient), community mental health, and government-funded organisations.
Rachael works with clients of all ages, and with individuals, groups, families, and couples. Rachael is also experienced in providing psychological and cognitive assessment.
She approaches her practice with compassion, warmth, and a down-to-earth attitude. Her goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where clients feel understood and but isn’t afraid to gently challenge her clients to help them gain greater insight and foster lasting change.
Through her collaborative approach, Rachael helps her clients to explore their relationship patterns and emotional experiences, encouraging greater self-awareness and guiding them towards achieving their personal goals.
Trained in a variety of evidence-based psychotherapies, Rachael understands the significance of finding the right therapeutic fit for each individual. She works closely with clients to identify the most suitable approaches for their unique needs and goals. Rachael’s therapeutic modalities include:

• Attachment-Based Therapy
• Psychodynamic Psychotherapy – (including the use of Intensive Short Term Psychodynamic Psychotherapy interventions)

Outside of her professional life, Rachael cherishes time with her family and friends, relaxing at the beach, sharing a delicious meal or exploring new places together. Committed to “practicing what you preach,” she engages in regular self-care to maintain her well-being, recognising that it directly enhances her capacity to support others.
